My nephew (who's 34) feels upset that the only comments he gets are from 16 year olds and not women his age.
I feel one reason many be because of competition between girls and if they could get an older fella as a boyfriend they would look "better" in front of the other girls. (But I'd like to know many reasons why.)
I would also like to know why some men in their 30's like 16 year olds. What the BLOODY HELL do they SEE in them WHEN THEY COULD GET ADULT WOMEN IF THEY WANTED TO?

A 30 year old man who likes 16 yr old girls is called a pedophile. There is absolutely no reason a girl that young should be dating a man that much older. I understand a young girl wanting an older guy but 30 is to much of an older guy and i see no parent approving that relationship

Let's get one thing straight right now. A pedophile is someone attracted to PRE-pubescent children- meaning children that have not hit puberty yet. So anyone attracted to a 16-year-old is not a pedophile. There are many 16-year-olds who look like they are 25, trust me I went to school with some of them.
Second, I think you are right, many girls like to date older guys because they think it makes them look more mature especially by their friends, adults however might think there is something wrong about that type of coupling. My cousin met her husband when she was 15 and he was 33, they have been married 7 years and have 2 kids. I don't know why some older men do it and I don't see a problem with it unless he only dates 16-year-olds exclusively, but you cannot judge every relationship by your own standards. Maybe they two of them formed some sort of connection and have a meaningful relationship, yes I know 99% of the time this is not the case but you cannot leave out the 1%. I think as long as both parties love and respect each other there is nothing wrong with these types of relationships.

some 16 yr. olds go for older guys because they did'nt have that loving father figure at home , or they think that a older guy can get them out of a bad family life. as for older men liking younger women , well sometimes it's because they think that they can make them do things that women won't do because the young girls will be more scared of them to tell them no. and sometimes it is just a chemical imbalance and they just don't know better.

Mmm.. Some 16 year olds look a lot older.. My friend could get into bars when she was 13. (our laws are 18)
Guys i reckon.. Younger girls (17/18 minimum are) more.. fun. Not career minded.. Not wanting kids.. Not looking for...... .. Seriousness. well not as much as someone in their 30s..
i'm only 17. And i've dated someone 25.. so.. i don't know..

it is the law of attraction, adult males send out more pheromones than boys 16.. and the girls at 16 also send out strong pheromones, it is nature in the process. a biological change in humans..subconciously, they are wanting the mature,stronger male mates. it is nature.

well, i'm a teenager and i don't like 30 year olds. i have no idea why others do. status simbol i guess, showing they can get an older guy.
