My period is more than a week late, I've been peeing nonstop, and I've got a thick discharge like I did with my first pregnancy. However, I've taken THREE home pregnancy tests and they've all showed up negative. Any chance that they could be wrong?

It is possible to have a false negative. Go and see your doctor and get a blood test done.

With home pregnancy tests there is a better likely hood of false negatives then positives. I would give your obgyn a call. Also were they the same brand of hpt? Some more then others like EPT are a little bit more sensitive and will pick up the pregnancy hormone sooner.

They usually are very accurate. Are you using your first morning's urine? I know these days the tests say that it isn't necessary, but there is more of the hormone that they detect in your first morning's urine.
Make an appointment with your GYN, a blood test is more accurate, and a pelvic exam will show if your cervix is blue which is another sign of pregancy.

They are just as accurate as the doctors. They both have a slight chance of possibility that they could be wrong. They say that usually the only way it is wrong is if it's negative!

Sure, they could be worng. Call your OB/gyn or family doctor and tell them your period is late and you want a blood test. That'll solve it with one trip to the lab.
