The answer to both of those questions is yes, but that does not mean it will happen to you, every woman is different and every pregnancy is different. For my daughter, I did not grow any extra hair anywhere, but for this pregnancy (31 weeks), I have grown hairs on my belly, my public hair has gotten fuller and it seems I have hair in other parts as well. I asked my Doctor and I also spoke to another Doctor as well and they explained that it is normal and that once you have the baby, that extra hair will fall off. As far as veins, that is mostly hereditary or it depends on the individual person. You're more likely to get varicose veins if other members of your family have had them. If you have them, they tend to get worse with each successive pregnancy and as you get older. Being overweight, carrying twins or higher multiples, and standing for long periods can also make you more susceptible. The good news is that varicose veins tend to improve after you give birth, particularly if you didn't have any before you got pregnant.

I think it's different from woman to woman. I have much more distinct blue veins in my breasts but not on my hands - the more obvious veins are due to increased blood volume. Some women have thicker hair on their heads - because when you're pregnant you don't shed hair like you normally do. I haven't noticed a big difference with mine. The hair on my legs, etc, is about the same too, I think. There will be lots of changes to your body when you're pregnant - some good, some not so fun. It's all worth it in the end though!

i have had the weirdest things happen to me since ive been pregnant.. I am currently 36 weeks with my first. i am only 19 years old... Sooo all these changes r definitly weird to me.. Since ive started getting bigger my stomache has a ton of the blue veins in my thighs and my tummy and my boobs!!! my boobs actuallly havent even grown @ all but i still have them.. I dont know the reason for it. I just told someone else.. i rather have blue veins than stretch marks!! im crossing my fingers! lol
As for the hairy part.. Everyone makes fun of me and says that my hair on my arms looks like a wearwolf.. how embarassing but whatever!!! But ironically the hair on my head has been thinning out a lot!! im not complaining cause i have had the thickest hair ever!! So its making it easier for me especially now that im @ the end of my pregnancy.. I guess everyone is different!
Good Luck

For the hair I actually have not shaved in 2 months and my husband tells me I am not hairy. I think it all depends on the woman. The reason I havent shaved is because I am 33 weeks pregnant with twins and cant even start to try to bend over. And for the veins, Yes my entire belly and breasts are big blue veins all over. Your blood supply doubles when you are pregnant and your veins have to expand to make room for that blood level.

im 18 weeks and my veins have showed up, however this may be because my skin is now a lot lighter as i went for regular sunbeds till i found out i was pregnant then stopped so my tan has faded. the veins on my hands havent showed up but the have on my boobs.
some women get increased hair growth during pregnancy due to increased hormone production but after birth it can return to normal.

I am very fair skinned. You are able to see my veins in my breasts and all over my belly. My friend is pregnant and she has tan skin. You can't see her veins at all. It just depends. I never got hairy at all. Just depends on the pregnancy.

if you a fair skinned, you can see blue veins in your breasts as your body increases it's blood flow to nourish the baby. This goes away eventually so don't worry. I got very noticeable veins even in my legs but they also disappeared after giving birth.
Some women do get hairier - and it includes your body as well as your regular hair. You just don't seem to shed it as much -so your body maybe holds onto the hair more. Lots of women LOVE their hair when pregnant as it is thick and lustrous. I had that experience and then after pregnancy I had massive hair loss and bald patches...(they grew back eventually.)

It just depends on your body and your hormones. I developed blue veins in my breast early but no blue veins in my hands. As far as the hair thing goes again it just depends on how the body reacts to the lvl of hCG.
