I have an mac G5 computer. version 10.4.9. Do I have a dashboard, what is a dashboard, where do i find this dashboard or where can i download it from? Thanks bunches btw this is a 17 year old girl, I know my fair share about computers but please so techno mumbo jumbo i will be so lost!

As mentioned, Dashboard allows you to run mini-applications called widgets, and it was introduced in 10.4. You do not have it in 10.3.9, and unfortunately it is not possible for you to download it, as it does not work with older versions. You need 10.4 to run it.
If you are on another computer that is running 10.4, you can bring up Dashboard by clicking on the Dashboard icon (a round black icon, much like a meter on a car's dashboard) or by pressing F12.

Dashboard is an application which was introduced in Mac OS X 10.4. When activated, it allows you to run mini-applications known as Widgets. More info about Dashboard and widgets can be found on Apple's website:

Nope, you don't have Dashboard. 10.4 or higher only.
