Swelling can take up to months to go away. If your doctor says you are healing fine then don't worry about it.

Patience is the key word here. :)

Congrats!

i only went from a D to a B cup and it was never swelled up. maybe u are a big C. maybe your dr. wasn't able to go that small because going from ff to a c is a big jump. its too dangerous to take out too much breast tissue.

After your surgery, your surgeon is likely to prescribe medication to help you deal comfortably with soreness and swelling. Within the first week, you will experience a certain amount of discomfort and you should expect swelling and bruising in the area. It will take several weeks before you can stop wearing a special support bra and for normal sensation to return to your nipples and for you to return to most normal activities and exercise. In a few months’ time, your breasts will settle into their new shape. Your scars will begin to fade and if you had been suffering from chronic back and neck pain, you will finally enjoy relief!
