Many people enter masters programs in their thirties. It's not unusual.
I've known successful teachers to do their masters and switch much later than that.

NEVER!!!! I'm 35 yrs old and leaving my career for a new one and starting o UNI again this coming Sept.... my 3rd degree so far lol. When i went and took my Socaial works, I had classmates as old as mid 50's. You ask them why, and they tell you, a switch is good for the soul. Do what's best for you, in the end, its your life....plus these days, you've got to keep up with the current way of life. You got to have atleast a few qualifications in order to compete with the younger generations. Like they said... an average person will atleast have 10x switches career by the time they reach 40, whch is I believe that's true since i'm one of those who happens to get bored easily when the challenge is gone.
Go for it.... and all the luck!!!
Cheers!!!!!!!!!!!

It's never too late. In 4 more years you will still be 40 whether you entered the program or not.

No. My severe college band director is in his mid-40s and is working on his grasp's. in spite of the undeniable fact that, switching careers desires to be something you're beneficial you prefer to do. as quickly as you turn at that age, you haven't any longer have been given lots extra time to think again while you're questioning of a occupation activity, no longer basically a activity.

NEVER!!! Follow your dreams and do whatever makes you happy. Lots of schools have programs now for the "untraditional" students. Trust me, I'm a 21 yr old undergrad graduate and PLENTY of my classmates were as old or older than my parents. They planned on doing amazing things and brought wonderful clarity and examples to discussions and projects. I think that it is never to late to change your life around and shake things up a bit so long as the results make your life more enjoyable.

Not at all, not these days. Often, people are switching careers at that age.

I have UNDERGRADS at that age, so no it is definitely not too late to attend graduate school. But just be prepared for the sacrifice...grad. school is harder and more time-consuming than undergraduate.
