Absolutely not! My dad was 26 when I was born, 28 for one brother, 30 for the second brother, 40 for the third brother, and 44 for the fourth brother (we all have the same mom too!) He loves being a dad at this older age (he is now 53) and feels wiser and more easygoing. Best of luck and congrats! By the way, it is awesome for my baby girl (she loves her young uncles)!

well do you feel old? don't you think once you see that baby your eyes are going to light up and when they started running and crawling you'll be excited to play too? age is in your head! Good Luck! plus just fyi our plan doesn't always matter sorry to say someone else has better plans than yours and that person or spirit or whichever way you look at it thinks you can and should handle it.

Congratulations. I don't think you are too old at all, look at the lady who was in her 60's and going through it all for the first time. I think every situation is exactly what you make of it.

Ask again in ten years when your (ten year old) son wants to play ball and learn how to throw a football etc... and you are 54!
