I have a pc, and I just purchased a Dell laptop. I want to transer all my files to my new laptop. How do I do this without burning CDs to transfer the files. Tell me exactly, since I'm not used to doing this sort of thing, and I don't understand all the lingo. Thanks.

You can go to Start>All Programs>Accessories>System tools and use the file transfer to do it. You will need to network the computers through a router beforehand.
However I would back up the files to disks first in case something goes wrong and they don't transfer right

Hope this helps
