Former vice president Al Gore was involved in a security breach at the Nashville Airport when an American Airlines employee led him and his entourage around security, a clear violation of policy.

"There are no exceptions. Everyone must go through security," airport spokesperson Lynn Lowrance said.

Wednesday at the Nashville Airport, Gore arrived with two others and airport. Sgt. Gary Glover with airport police waited for his arrival and to go through security.

"He made his way to security, waiting for him to come through the check area, then he saw him pop up past security in a sterile area," Lowrance said.

Gore and his group bypassed the metal detectors, a blatant security breach.

Why does Mr. Environment think that he is above the law?

No, that whore isn't Mr. Environment. He lives in a huge town house that is absorbing electricity through it's rectum. And, on top of that, global warming is fake. In about the last 100 years, the earth's temperature has increased a WHOPPING 1 degree. Ohhh noooo!!!! Call me when Gore moves to the rainforest and takes up tribal chanting and nudism.

I am not an Al Gore fan. When he was a representative, I liked him. When he became a Senator, I stopped liking him, and he became worse ever since.

However, he is a former Vice-President, Senator, and Representative. Airport security usually insists on moving people of his profile throiugh another point so as to not slow down the masses of people at security check-points. Considering that he has his own Secret Service detail, I do not think that constitutues a security risk or a security breach.

Still despise him though.

He has a high enough security clearance as a former vice president, he does not present a danger to the public. It would be a security breach for him to have to wait where he may be attacked by
someone who disagrees with his opinions. He has earned this
favoritism and consideration as an important former member of our Government. He served with dignity and pride. Give him a break already.

For the same reason Mr. Global Warming uses more electricity in month, at his residence, than the rest of us use in a year. All the crap he spouts is for others, not Al Gore.

If you think all Americans are created equal and are subject to the laws of this country, you must have just landed here from some other planet. Get real!

This happens all the time...and not just Gore. Politicians and celebrities bypass normal security on a regular basis. And it is not at their own insistence, it is the airport security management that make this possible. He has no authority to demand this treatment. So if you have a problem with this, I would suggest contacting the Nashville Airport and discuss the matter with their security...they LET IT HAPPEN!!!!

So do most senator, the Vice President, the President's wife and children. Most of the ex-presidents. I think that Carter is the only one that ever went standard 1-class. They are all still guarded bye the Secret Service ( who carry guns by the way) and I don't think that there is a terror threat there that is if you are not a Republican.

Say now, didn't you know that all former VP's and former Prez's have some perts and that is one of them. They knew he was coming because the Secret Ser had been there first and let them know. And, if you had looked real hard, you may have seen the secret service with him. So thats that.

No. Ali is not better then the rest of us. And he uses more toxics then the rest of us too. besides the fact that he and his boss "contributed" a lot to world contamination during the NATO Jihad against Yugoslavia.

You forgot the rest of the story where security DID stop them, and they complied with going through the security check.
