Do what my girlfriend does when she wants something, Withhold sex from him till he gives in. (just kidding) Just have a talk about it and see how he feels about it. He may want one as well. I would take a jar and put a little bit of money each week until you have saved up enough for your wii. It is a good system as far as game-play goes, but the graphics do suffer compared to the other systems. good luck..

$250 isn't too much, consider the prices of the Xbox 360 ($400) and the PS3 ($600). The Wii has a lot of potential, it offers gamers a new kind of gaming experience and though some will say the graphics aren't as good as the 360's or the PS3, its still the most fun and economical choice.

The Wii is the system that reals makes you get up and play the game (in games like Wario Ware: Smooth Moves). The libary is already well on its way to becoming something greater than other systems have been able to do before, it actually takes the player and engrosses them in the game, and succeeds.

You can easily get your moneys worth out of the wii. Because it'll allow you to spend time together doing something you both enjoy and have fun. If you have kids even, they can enjoy it with you. The wii is a system for the indivual and the family.

The wii is awesome. It is much cheaper than the 360 and PS3 and it even comes with the wii sports, I know your husband would love that because I know how much men love sports. You also get exercise while playing. And it plays gamecube games. The games are so much fun. I know a wii is expensive but it is worth your money. It's not like your throwing away money on something you don't need. I play mine everyday.

Depending on your husband's age, he may be extremely interested in the Virtual Console...it allows you to purchase and download classic games from the 80's and 90's, and play them on the Wii.
