Is there anything else to do with the memory card?

I know how to phyically install a new memory card, but is there anything else I have to do to intialize it or do I just plug it in and go?

Just plug and go, you will be prompted by the computer if something suppose to be initialized but not.

plug it in let the pc know that youre installing it by going to add or remove softeware or hard ware area in your controll panel the n lallow the pc to format the card
