they have been holding someone i know for 1 month and have not even appointed him with a lawyer and have not even arrained him yet and whats worse of all is that all the accusation sare not true.

Ok, there's either something here you aren't saying, or something you don't know. My guess is, it's the latter, and you're being conned by some scum bucket. If they are holding him that long without arraignment, that means that have something else to hold him on. He probably violated parole, which means he has a previous conviction.

Please, go and talk to the police and find out what this guy's real past is. My guess is, you're gonna get a big surprise.

If he's an American, he cannot be held this long without arraignment. Unless he's being held under terrorism charges, in which case, he has lost all rights. Apparently, Bush has given himself the right to suspend habeus corpus.
