USB Y-line?

I've got an external usb hard drive and 2 computers. At the moment, I have connected to one comp and shared on the network, but I'd much rather be able to connect it to both simultaneously as the network solution is somewhat slow. Is this posible?

You can't connect a USB drive to 2 PC's simultaneously. How would the drive know whose traffic is whose?

Get a USB hub.
