No. Mike Shannahan is way into runnning back by committee. If Willis McGahee does go to Denver, he'll have to compete with Mike Bell not just for the starting spot but for carries throughout the season. If this does happen, I would expect two 1,000+ yard rushers in Denver but no 2000 yard rushers. Besides, I think that it is more likely that LaDanian would get to 2000 yards next (let's hope that EA Sports and John Madden don't select him for the cover).

Although I feel anyone can rush for 1000 yards in Denver, 2000 yards is a stretch, especially with McGahee. His production has steadily declined the last two seasons. If there's to be a 2000 yard rusher in the NFL this coming season, it will be a running back from the AFC West, and it wont be a Broncos or Raiders running back. Tomlinson and Larry Johnson have the ability and the O-Lines to rush for two grand.

Health and durability are the two things keeping him from 2000 yards. If anyone will do it in 2007, McGahee with the broncos could. Possibly Larry Johnson if the Chiefs could find a way to get 8 men out of the box.

Yeah, and it will be LT
McGahee is really overrated and an injury risk. And the Broncos line wouldn't make RBs any better, I think all RBs would get about the same in their zone-block system (ie: LT wouldn't get like 2500 yards) because you have to run a certain way to adapt to it, but most top RBs' styles wouldn't meld that well with their system (that's why they've been using pretty average backs ---don't expect to see Tatum Bell do that well when he starts in Detroit).

I think if Mcgahee does go to Denver it would hurt his a well as M. Bells production because there no sure starter it keeps you guessing especially in fantasy football

Not likely. The Broncos line is not as good as when TD rushed for 2k.

No, even if he starts off well, one of two things, maybe both will happen.
1) He gets injured
2) is joined in a committee by Bell or some guy they pick up off the street.
He's good, but not going for 2K in Denver.

Is it Possible? Yes. Is it likely? No. Is it going to happen? No. Also remember running that much wears you down, no matter who you are. That is why so few backs make it to 2,000. They start to slow down if even just from the running.

I doubt it, he is too injury prone. If anyone rushes for over 2000 yards it will be LJ or LT.
