I want to convert my car so it would be powered by natural gas. Tha gas is cheaper. But is it safe and is it bad for engine?

You will be carrying around a tank full of pressurized natural gas that could explode in the event of a collision. But if you're ok with that, go for it.

Mike's right. Farm tractors in the Midwest have been running on propane for fifty yrs. Combustion chambers stay clean and little upkeep other than oil changes.
