The PC will not start up, it says it was closed down improperly last time and says start in safe mode, normally or last time you knew it worked.
In safe mode it says something to do with partitions, and normal and last time it worked it just keeps going in a loop and I can't read the error message. I have tried to press F10 when it is starting up but no luck.

Can anyone help?

Kevin

Switch on computer and tap the F8 key repeatedly, you will then be at the same screen you had to access Safe Mode. Scroll down to Last good configuration and press Enter. Your computer should then restart to the last time it was working.

You are apparantly having some problems with your harddrive. Sometimes the symptoms you mentioned are indicative of a hard drive that is on the verge of collapse. Nonetheless, I would suggest that you get someone to backup that drive, format it and do a fresh installation of the operating system.
Remember, you must reinstall the drivers for any peripherals you have including printers, etc.
Your problems should be resolved therewith.
