To those who don't know, G2000 is an Hongkong brand which is quite equvilent to Mango. It has other brands such as U2(sometimes known as LAB) and UWOMEN. It is quite a popular brand in most of the South East Asian Countries. ( I am doing this for my project, it is like a survey, so please give constructive comments!) Thanks!

G2000 is not really equivalent to Mango.

G2000 specializes in quasi-commodity apparel, basically mainstream business & casual wear. I'm not saying that there isn't an element of style to the brandline, but their product line styling quite conservative.

It's flagship G2000 product tries to go young and professional. It focuses on business wear - somewhat akin to a Hong Kong Brooksbrothers or what the Gap was back in the 80's. The styling is distinctly "Hong Kongish", which means British styling with Hong Kong fashion-sense.

The new casual lines - Pink and Blu - try to be younger and hipper without testing the boundries of fashion too aggressively. The fabrics are premium quality, conservative prints and of proven fashion sense (i.e. not too crazy). They are not on the bleeding edge of fashion on the Inditex brands, nor are they locked into nostalgia fashion lines (e.g. Esprit, Crocodile). I hesitate to compare them to Mango since MNG (as their fans call them) try to be a bit riskier up the fashion curve. Colors and MNG tend to be a bit more feminine and casual - think fruity-tooty compared to G2000 overweighting of black, white, navies and tans.
