I have two back packs with supplies one in my car and the other my apartment. I am going to head North to my safe house.
I have enough supplies to last for the trip up there and cash on hand.

Yes, I am prepared. I have accepted Jesus Christ as my savior. As far as a nuke war, I wouldn't worry about it. If anything happens, it will be minimal. There won't be a global nuke war. The big 3 Russia, China and the U.S. all have too much to lose. With that being said, if Iran nukes Israel I think much of Iran will become uninhabitable for a very long time.
N. Korea I wouldn't worry about. There guidance system is a joke and there detonation of a nuke was a flop. The gun in the nuke bomb doesn't work. China gave them antiquated technology and even that they can't figure out. Fortunately for us, our sanctions against N. Korea have worked. Bush has undone a lot of harm the Clinton did with the way Clinton supplied Nuke technology to N. Korea. Real smart move on Slick Willy's behalf.
You can also thank Clinton for allowing Iran to get the electronic parts for the F 14 Tomcat to fly. Another issue that isn't talked about much. Fortunately they didn't get the Phoenix missile system that goes with the plane. Raytheon had the savvy to tell Clinton to shove it where the sun don't shine on that one. At least they saw clear enough to realize what a screw up Clinton was.
Raytheon makes a lot of major and key electronic components for the Phoenix system.

I love this question because it so indicates that people accept entertainment as news and base decisions on fiction. The current entertainment industry trainwreck are shows that depict nukes going off in the US and many now accept it as fact. Some write in to newspapers or websites and ask where did this happen, is there any danger to them. Shows like Jericho and 24 have loved this theme. I often think that people have lost sight of what fiction is and what is reality. Oh well, when the entertainment industry, in which you must be vocally to the political left if you wish to work, figures out that scaring the crap out of people will hurt Democratic candidates who always, always come off as bumbling idiots when it comes to national security and we will have to see a spate of shows around election time that depict terrorists as really nice people who just don't bathe much.

Do you think that's a real possibility ?! It dreads me to think of it, brrr !!! Makes chills going down my spine...
I don't believe it's a real option, it is technically too demanding for even well organized terrorists to get hold of such a device, and they probably wouldn't be able to use it anyway, being too stupid...
Some time ago I came across a book, written by catholic priest in which he describes consequences of Hiroshima bomb in Japan. He lived only 8 miles away from epicenter of explosion and than went to help wounded civilians in Hiroshima. He said even some of the people who were very near the explosion survived...

In the 1960's U.S. schools had bomb shelters and we were put through drills such as hiding under our desks and going into the halls away from windows. This was because the Russians were going to attack us. Forty years later we're still waiting and everyone wonders why the baby boomers who constantly got the sh*t scared out of them have "issues" today.

I am still waiting and it has not happened yet. When I was a youth we had regular bomb drills. When it happens it will be too late. I refuse to live my life in fear. I think God foresaw this happening and references to the earth being destroyed by fire are predicted, and He will not have to lift a finger. Try to vote out the war mongers and spread love to others on this earth.
