I'm amazed at some of these responses. I often wonder why if people don't really know, why do they bother answering...

YES, VW and Audi, is the same company. Audi is the luxury dvision of VW.

VW and Audi are different corporate entities, but Audi is owned by VW which also owns Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Scoda, and Seat, however, Porsche holds a 25% interest in VW Group and wants a controlling share of VW.

yes and no.
Volkswagon AG is the parent co to many car makes, including Audi, Skoda and others I cannot remember at this time. (I think they own Bently as well, but I may be off the mark on that). Check out the Wiki on V-Dub. I am sure it will more info than you could possibly want.

they are both german companys but seperate until most recently, i think they merged. ok
