Bkt. Jalil is about 10 over km to Shah Alam and can be accesible using Kesas highway, however you may need to go through toll paying 2.20rm if i'm not mistaken. The best hotel you can find around Bkt. Jalil is the Mines Resort and Palace of the Golden Horses.
By the way, Mint hotel has closed down a couple of years ago...:-)

Bkt Jalil to shah alam about 10 to 15km, or about 15minutes drive in a busy time (with traffic jam).
Good hotel around Bukit Jalil I'm not very sure, but around shah alam theres a few:
Holiday Inn Shah Alam.
Blue Wave hotel ,
Concorde Shah Alam,
UITM Hotel. - (3 or 4 star hotel) - reasonable price with excellent hospitality.
You can go to shah alam or google search on earth for more details.

If you use KESAS Highway, it might take only 15 minutes to reach shah alam (depends which part of shah alam your starting point). If you choose Federal Highway, it might take forever if you are unlucky.
The best hotel in Bukit Jalil is Palace of Golden Horses. The cheapest might be Mint Hotel.
