Yes it will take you 5-10 brisk mins, head towards the London Eye (so go out the station exit next to the Eurostar platforms) which you cannot miss then it's over Westminster Bridge (not Waterloo Bridge!)

Walk out of Waterloo Stn onto York Road straight ahead towards Westminster Bridge and there it is Beautiful as ever

About 10 mins Walk not long at all

It doesn't take half hour I work near there and it takes 5 mins to get the the Bridge and 5 to walk across it

Yes, it's walkable. Takes me about 20 mins at a leisurely pace.

Yep... it will take you about 30 mins max, if you have a brisk walk. You can go over Waterloo bridge, down the Strand or along Embankment, or along the south of the river past the London Eye - nice walk. Depends on your mood!!
