Peace... because with that amount of money you would never have a day of peace!!
Besides, if the world is at peace, there will be no real need for all this wealth!!

I just want my peace of mind.... neither 500 m Pounds nor peace on Earth can guarantee that to me. I don't think peace on Earth can translate to peace of mind for each individual. Similarly having that much money for myself would ensure break of mind rather than any peace of mind.
I would therefore take the money and have the satisfaction of helping some of the needy persons who are in millions.

ermmm, well my first reaction would be Peace on earth, however peace does not last, and before you know it there will be some sort of conflict which will inevitably increase to destruction. So considering all factors I would say £500 million.
