i heard about candle making business with a contract for one year where the raw material will be supplied and the finished product will be bought back by the company.for this Rs.15000 should be deposited.company will send a trainer whose travelling ,food and boarding expenses should be met by us.the company is based in delhi.is this genuine business?can you suggest me any other home based business?

Yeah, it definately sounds a bit on the dodgy side to me but you'd need to do more research into it. I'm always sus of anything where you have to pay money up front to start the opportunity.
You could try some of these ideas, i'd actually focus on 2 or 3 of them to be really successful.

If you told me you was going to Fly a Plane I would advise you to take a Flight training Course First. Same thing with a Home Based Business, There are Home Based Business Courses That can Teach you step-by-step how to start a home based business.
When you find a Home Based Business course that You are interested in the small amount that you would invest in it, Would be well worth it to you in the long run, Once you have a highly successful Business to make money online for yourself.

I just started with a company called Send Out Cards. It's an on-line greeting card company and markets to small business owners and professionals.
The system allows you to send real cards (they have over 8,000 cards to choose from). You can set it up to send on a specific date (anniversary, birthday, etc.) and even a series of cards.
For example, a person may setup a campaign to send a 'nice to meet you' card immediately, then a card every other month. This helps the business owner/professional stay in touch with their customers and prospects.
You can become a license reseller of this system and make money every time one of your customer sends a card. You also make money for training them on how to use the system.

Dear friends, every day we can see the advertisement of home based business such as candle making, paper plate, CFL choke making business in newspapers. These are all 99% fraud and cheating. Please don't believe it and go on it.
I'm doing a small business in my home town. When I try to start a business, I was looking for a business opportunity in all over Tamil nadu. So, I met many peoples and interrogate with them who is newly start a business and business seekers in all over Tamil nadu. I was shocked because many people loss their money by cheating of such a home based business. Luckily I didn't lose my money because of thorough enquiry.
Their motive is just wanted to sell their products such a Die or Machine. They will make a buyback agreement and they will attract us by posting ads like earn Rs 1500 daily or earn Rs 40000 per month like this. It’s impossible, if you think deep about it you can realize this is nonsense.
Once we joined, few days later they will reject our finished products or pay less money because of quality or stop giving order/material and irritate us. They will make us to drop the business.
So, my kind advise/Request is please don't go on such fraudulent business and don't waste your money and time.
Look for the practical possibilities, demands, and requirements on your home town. And try to consult some business men who you know, believe and respect. That’s the best way to start business safely.

Making candle itself is good home based business. You can consult any cottage industries forum they will be ready to help you even with no or minimum fees. 15000 is a big money for a cottage industry like this.

I came across Adsense. Its free to do. I started it while I had my nine to five job and worked on a few blogs and then started websites as time went by. Now I stopped my nine to five and work on this from home. It takes minimal effort on my part. I learn everything I can about websites and promotion and put it in practice. One of those is in the source box that explains all. Good luck.
