If the hole does close up, does it leave a scar? How long does it take for the hole to close up?

it depends on the person, and how long you've had it peirced, my friend who recently got hers done removed it and it nearly sealed a day later, i on the other hand have had mine peirced since i was 12, i removed my ring for almost a week and it did not seal, some people's pericings many never close, as for the scar, i highly doubt it but if so, it would be barely noticable

Actually, as I learned from some sources, it will closeup. But it will not leave scars. The reason why it will close is because of the white blood cells. But to be safe, always be sure that you always clean it so no dirt will block up the hole(in case you want it to close).

Depending on how long you've had it... it should close up quickly. Mine did leave a scar... but not every one's is as big as mine. And it shouldn't take very long to heal...

eventually it will close up, and yes it does leave a scar, which is why people should think long and hard about what they do to their bodies.
