You need to find out one quarter of £312.60 - divide by 4 (price of first child)
then you need to find out what two thirds of 312.60 is (divide it by 3 to find out what one third is, then multiply it by two to get 2 thirds)
Then multiply the two thirds of the price by two (as there are 2 children)
Then add those two totals up & add the £40 also.
You don't say how many adults are there though so I can't give you an answer.

Assuming adult as 2 persons, the total cost for the family staying for a week works out to be $6664.70.

k
625.20 + £104.20 + £208.4 = £937.80 is it per night (i have done it as full week)?
40 x 7 = £280 car hire for week
total for 1 week £1217.80
but if £937.80 per night it would be 937.80 X 7 nights 6564.60 + 280 = £6844.60!
hope you understand it!
Family is 2 adults and 3 kids

312.60*2=625.2
312.60*1/4=78.15
312.6*2/3=208.4
625.2+78.15+208.4+40=951.70 per day
951.75*7=6662.25

Break it up into separate calculations. Add the pieces. Most importantly, DO YOUR OWN HOMEWORK or your education will be pointless and valueless.
