Who is your favorite "American Idol" contestant so far. Who do you want to see leave this week? My personal favorite from the very beginnig is Lakisha, she is by far the most talented,and in a different league from the rest of the singers, Im afraid some people are going to think she doesn't fit the "Image" though.

WHat! Antonella was my leat favorite from the beginnig. The only reason she is on the show now is her pretty face. She serverly lacks talent. I think Melinda will make it pretty far.

I agree with pipi on the Sanjaya/AJ thing. I like Sanjaya's voice, but he has alot of growing to do. Its too small (his voice). AIrealy thought Aj would make it to the top 12. If we are basing the competition on shear singing ability, I have to admit it will come down to Melinda or Lakisha,

Leading women are Melinda Doolittle & Lakisha. Men - Chris Sligh and -- don't know his name but the guy they compare to Timberlake.
Is it 2 girls & boys this week again? Antonella needs to go home this week. Hate her snitty attitude - did you catch the eye roll last week when all 3 judges knocked her performance? Childish, girl. You're not a pro. SanJay - nice kid, but not up there (yet). I think he might be gone.
AJ going home over SanJay -- well that's American Idol for you -- if you don't vote -- a better singer could go home early.

My favorites: Boys: Phil Stacey, Blake Lewis, and Chris Richardson
Girls: Jordin Sparks, Haley Scarnato
I really personally don't like Melinda or Lakisha all that well they both are good but just not like wow to me. I also don't like Antonella and don't think she is even pretty so some people need to realize it's a singing competion and stop voting for her and let someone who can actually sing have a chance. Same goes for Sanjaya I don't know why people are voting for him get him off there!

I love Melinda, although the toughest competition between the girls would be :
Lakisha
Melinda
Jordin, and
Sabrina
from the guys, I Iike Blake, and Phil has an amzing voice as well.
I'd like to see Blake do something other than contemporary. No doubt his "Virtual Insanity" was very good, but I want to hear him sing something more urban, like Bobby Valentino or Usher(should be very interesting). I didn't really think much of Sundance in the beginning, but after "Mustang Sally" I kinda warmed up to him a little.
I would DEFINITELY like to see Antonella and Sanjaya go this week. The competition is WAAAY too big for them!

Melinda Dolittle is the best so far...To me anyway. Lakisha runs second, followed by Chris Sligh and Sundance.
After last week's fiasco I don't even venture a guess as to goes home this week. For Sanjaya Malakar to be left on the show and AJ Tabaldo to go home just goes to show you that everyone who is capable of dialing a telephone, probably shouldn't...

If we're talking about voices here, I'd personally have to go with Lakisha Jones, Jordin Sparks, or Melinda Dootlitte. But lately, hasn't american idol seemed more like a likeability contest? If we're going with the likeability factor i'd have to go for Blake Lewis, Jordin Sparks, Chris Sligh, or Chris Richardson. Usually people with the funky and crazy personalitlites end up winning but anybody I listed in my response I would be more than happy with winning!

My favorite contestants so far are Jared, Melinda, Chris R, and Blake!!!!
The next 2 guys that I want to leave are Sanjaya and Brandon Rogers.
I'm not sure about the girls yet.

my favorite contestant... is Jordan sparks, she is talented, and she's only 17. i also like Lakisha, they both have good personalities. who i want to leave... Antonella Barba is by far the least talented, and Jared cotter is the most obnoxious of the guys.

No one really seems to grab my interest so far but if I had to pick it would be Jordin Sparks. And Antonella seriously needs to get the hell out of there. Every episode she appears to be even more of a fish out of water.

Who's the dude with the curly hair/glasses combo? I like him, I think he's got a good voice and a personality - something which some of the other contestants severely lack.
