I have been researching acoustic guitars for a beginning player and I have narrowed down the results to the following three guitars:

1)http://www.guitarcenter.com/shop/product/buy_ibanez_ijv50_jampack_quick_start?full_sku=519456%2e010

2)http://www.guitarcenter.com/shop/product/buy_epiphone_dr100_acoustic_guitar?full_sku=518569%2e010

3)http://www.guitarcenter.com/shop/product/buy_epiphone_pr150_acoustic_guitar?full_sku=101832319

I'm leaning towards the Ibanez because it comes with the tuner and a few other things and I've heard great things about their guitars, but on the other hand I've heard good things about Epiphone guitars, and the #2 guitar can be ordered in black which is AWSOME, but I don't want to get the guitar just because I can get it in black. Anyways, enough of the rambling on. It's your call folks. Oh, and if you could maybe tell me why you choose the one you do, that would be much appreciated.

If you are truly a beginner, you want to get the guitar that is easiest to play. Generally, these cheap guitars are difficult to play because the strings are harder to hold down. That can be very frustrating when you are learning (I know). You definitely want to try them out if you can. If you are really serious about playing guitar, you are going to want to upgrade to a real guitar after about the first month of playing (I did), and an expensive guitar is worth every penny -- it is easier to play and sounds soooo much better that you'll just want to keep playing and playing and playing.

If money is a concern right now and you don't have the opportunity to try out these guitars, go with the best value, although you might want to consider #3 because description says it is easy to play (don't know if that's just advertising bull).

Get the tuner package. When you're talking about $100 on a guitar, there's really no need to debate which one is better. I'm sure they're both decent beginner guitars.

it depends on what kind of a sound you're looking for. depending on what kind of wood the body is made from, it will give you differetn sounds. some will give you warmer sounds and some will give you brighter tone. i personally, have a dean made from Ash. my guitar has a bright sound. however, if you want a warmer sound, you might want something like an alvarez. however, i personally feel, like your best bet is a martin. they make amazing guitars. pretty much mostly handcrafted, and beautiful tone.

ibanez really doesn't make that great of an acoustic. they have really nice electrics, though. - same deal with epiphones.

whilst i bought my Ibanez S5470 from Sam Ash, i replaced into waiting to haggle them into giving me the two year loose setup/upkeep/guarantee plan. It expenditures someplace around one hundred greenbacks besides the undeniable fact that this is rather hassle-free to get them to grant it to you. besides the undeniable fact that, Sam Ash and Guitar middle are primary for their not so great set-ups. they're frequently strung up right away outta the container and are not set up nicely.. Set united statesfrequently value around 25~30 money.
