Why don't women like sex as much as men?

It seems that men generally have stronger sex drives and want it all the time so there must be a difference of how much men like it more, right?

I think you are incorrect in your basic assessment. I think SOME women like sex as much or more than SOME men. During the act of sex, it is entirely common for men to tire and quit before the woman is pleasured, in many cases. As far as sex as conquest, women see it differently than men. You see, being a woman carries with it the responsibility for the consequences of sex, whereas for men it is likely to seem a game; women must do the hard part... the bearing children, so it is not surprising that they perceive of the whole thing on a different level.

Wow.... that's a generalization for certain. It depends on the person, not the gender. Many women have as strong or stronger sex drives than men in general.
But you are correct that it's commonly thought that men have stronger drives.
Why? I'll offer a few thoughts.
1. Women have to worry about getting pregnant. Even on the pill there is a 1 in a 100 chance statistically this will happen. And that changes a woman's life more than a man's. Usually.
2. Women tend to do more of the housework, child care, bills, cooking...you get the gist.. and are just plain more tired at the end of the day. Are you helping?
3. Some men don't like to see their woman looking anything but shaved, perfumed and pretty in bed. You know what? That's a lot of work. Perhaps you are one of the guys ( like my husband ) who understand that real is good and you may get more if you don't mind unshaved legs and less than perfect makeup or none at all. If so, great ! But most are the former in my experience.
4. What have you done for her lately? If you are a wham-bam-thank you Ma'am type, well, it's really self explanatory.
5. I want to add that very thin women, with little or no body fat may have a lower drive because it is our fat that stores our hormones related to sex drive. Less fat, less hormones. Sorry, Guys, but seems the fashion industry may just be ruining your good times.. curves ( natural ones ) are good for more than just looks.

I think it is a common misconception that women don't want sex as much as men. I agree that there are some who could take it or leave it, but there are others who who thoroughly enjoy it and in some cases want it more than the man. It may have something to do with the ages of both. Men's sex drives, for example, go down at around 30 - which is women are in high gear. Also, weight gain can cause a man's sex drive to decrease while increasing that of a woman. It can have a lot of different factors.

Well, I think hormones have something to do with it! And also the fact that, when your balls are full, well,... No ned to draw a picture!

It might be cultural, in the sense that males in the kingdom are supposed to spread their genes as much as possible.

That being said, I have a VERY high libido! I usually tire my boyfriends, actually!

But for most women, it is way more pleasurable to have sex with someone you care about than with some random guy. But not just because you like the guy; it's also because it's more dfficult to pleasure a woman than to pleasure a man! You never know what you're going to get (and I'm not only talking about the size, here), so sometimes, it's better not to do it than to be frustrated!

And them you also have this idea that women shouldn't enjoy sex, and they feel bad about it, so don't do it. Some are also insecure. Some don't know their body enough, and don't really enjoy themselves. Some have never had sex with a great f*ck! Plenty of reasons!

Women don't have less sex drive, but they do have more social conditioning to overcome. The old mantra... girls who like lots of sex are whores.

My brother says that he wants to lock my niece up until she's 30. But he doesn't say the same thing about my nephew.

Also, women have to deal with the consequences of pregnancy.

Also, some guys don't want to be with a woman who has had many partners because of his own performance anxieties. This is emphasized quite a bit on porn sites and in religion.

Women do have strong sexual drive.Rather it depends on the sexual urge of an individual.There r many women or girls who choose prostitution or sex working to fulfil their excess sexual urge,although they r from a good family background.There r many women who leave her husband being not to satisfy her physically.
