Blaming you for everything, is another control weapon used by possessive control freak men. He won't go to councilling because he knows what he's doin and doesn't want you to be reassured that you aint wrong. Not knowing the full situation - no communication and you be miserable also assures him, he is in control. Have a brother like that and his wife was afraid to leave but it got worse and worse and she had to get a barring order out of fear even though he never hit her. She could take no more and had to go this route. Everyone was surprised as no body knew what going on in their marriage....she told nobody. Their is so much fear and guilt loaded onto you, you end up questioning yourself. If you say you are leaving, All the threats come first then promises will come as to how he will change, he''ll cry, promise you the sun moon and stars, will send you lovely gifts and tx messages, will want to meet to talk ... sometin he wont do now and the reasons for all these emotions is he never realised you had the balls to get up and get out and this does take a lot of courage. Hope this is of some help to you. Go for it Hun.

Leave, see if that makes him communicate in a better way. Go on Dr. Phil, do something. Don't nurture your negative thoughts. Try to be upbeat and mean it.

Wow, the only thing I can think of at this point is to pray. And you can ignore him. Behave as though nothing bothers you. His behavior just might change.
