One of his poems-
FIRE AND ICE
Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.

There was a bloke at my school called Robert Frost but I dont think thats who you mean! I think Robert Frost wrote a poem that was used in the book The Outsiders, Natures first green is gold, Her hardest hue to hold, her early leaf's a flower but only so an hour, then the leaf subsides to leaf So Eden sank to grief, So dawn goes down to day, Nothing Gold can stay. Oh my goodness I have a wierd memory.................................

Robert Frost grew up in Lawrence, Mass., graduated from Lawrence High School, was the valedictorian; married the salutatorian; moved to Derry, NH, where he owned a farm and taught at Pinkerton Academy.
He did a reading of one of his poems at John F. Kennedy's inauguration; there is a function hall, in Derry, named after one of his poems, or rather a line in one of his poems..."Promises to Keep".
Once after a reading of one of his poems, a listener asked him to explain what it meant...I loved this: he read it again.

He's the author of "Stopping by the woods one snowy eve". The last stanza..."and miles to go before I sleep, and miles to go before I sleep", I heard, was repeated because he couldn't think of a rhyming line to follow it.
