Quite frankly, that's up to you but where's your ambition? If you're a houseplant, you're restricted, you have no room for growth, you have a shelf-life - as it were - of a few weeks or months. Why not decide to become an acorn then you have the potential to become a forest of mighty oak trees, to have children playing on your sturdy branches for centuries to come.

What..
Have your bottom stuffed in soil and people pour water over you.
That no life for a young seedling.
Branch out and go for a career in forestry and put your roots down like your grandad and become a chip of the old block
