Is there a web site where you can read just about any comic there is via the internet? And also, is the entire "Marvel Civil War" thing over with?

Second question: yes, Civil War is over; they now have something called the Initiative, to clean things up.

First question, as far as I know, no. You can see a lot of classic Superman stories for free on the ‘superman through the ages’ site, and they are well worth reading. But as far as other titles, other publishers, no. Marvel has some current stuff on their official site, but that’s it.

Comic book publishers publish to make money, so they rely on people buying their titles. We can’t just read them for free. They step hard on anybody they catch putting them on line for nothing. It is not a matter of being mean. If we put them out of business, there will be no more comics, ever. You don’t want that, do you?

I don't think it is a website, but yeah, I think you can read most comics on line. I had a friend who used to read them on line each week. I think private individuals used to scan in their comics. I can't stand reading comics on -line, but if it is your cup of tea, it might be bit torrent or something .

well...no. the civil War series is over, but there are still 2 factions that will be fighting over the issues in the series for the next few months at least.

Newsarama is a great site for comics.

Hi while the 1st person 2 answer your question did a good job. You said you wanted to read about comics, not comics themselves. Check out this page for tons of comic links for people like us for info.
