For me, an average person CAN change the world.

Yes, you may seem like a very small part of the earth, however, YOU contribute to this world. If you're asking for someone who can totally, as in a hundred percent, change the world, that's way beyond me. But, this is all I can offer-- Global Warming- you could help by planting one tree, and that tree alone would reduce the carbon dioxide produced.

Even though my example suggests that you are 0.01% or 0.00000001%, I'd say it still makes a difference. This is exactly what's happening- You are aware of global warming, but then, you think 'Nah, it's impossible to make a difference.' And so you wait for others to take the action. But what do they think? They, too, cannot make a difference. It all narrows down to one point... who will take action? Who will take responsibility? One thing's for sure. Very few.

Martin Luther, John Lennon and all those people you've mentioned above were all, at one point in their lives, ordinary average people. They were not afraid to fight for what they believe in, even though the crowd was against them. These kinds of people are what the world lacks. And trust me, you can definitely choose to lay back and watch life pass by, OR you could take action and change the world.

Once someone changes the world they're no longer an ordinary average person. Most world changers grew up "ordinary".

No. But one person can set an example for others to follow. Kind of like a "pay it foreward" type of thing.
