where can a trainer find a wild squirtle, wartoltle, or blastoise in pokemon leafgreen version?

Options:
1) Gameshark-easy and simple, but runs the risk of ruining your game.
2) Start the game over and choose Squritle as a starter
3) Buy Fire red, choose squritle and trade it over from that version
4) Have a friend breed their squritle and give you the egg.
