I have bought a new philips laptop with vista on and i have bought sims2 seasons expansion, on the back this is compatable with vista but on my sims2 and other exapnsions it doesnt say, will these go on or will i have to wait until sims2 becomes compatable with vista?

From what I've been hearing from others is that Vista isn't game friendly. So I'm just going to go by what Ive been hearing from a lot of major computer geeks that are in my comuncations class. lol. I wouldn't trust this new VISTA yet with gaming but there is a rumor going around that they are working on a newer windows since VISTA wasn't that great. I would ask someone who is in the computer field before buying it. I don't really trust a sellsman at a store because sometimes they'll say things to get you to buy it. I had that happen once, so I would go ask someone that works in the computer field. But like I've said, I'm going but what I'm hearing from others.

It depends whether they have tested the iother sims2 expansion on Vista...If they have not, then worst thing that could happen is that ur computer will immediately shut down and restart.

My girlfriend is playing on the sims 2 on her new laptop that has vista all the time! So it definately works, although I think I would prefer that it didn't!

no cos the sims 2 will just realise that there is a new vista so...it should be fine cos i hav it to aint the sims 2 just great
