Just to add to emma's remark about cats surviving falls: I've seen a cat fall off a 6-storey building onto concrete, and get up and walk away.

Their terminal velocity is low, and their bodies are superbly constructed.

Cat's dont have '9' lives. They actually can survive certain falls because of their bone structure.

You think its not fair, that you don't have the same bone structure, well think of all the good things you have that cats don't.

They die from lots of things, but they are different to the things you can die from, i.e. cats don't drive cars so this won't kill them, humans don't get feline leukemia, so you won't die of that!

My mates cat was brain damaged by falling jenga bricks and later fell backwards off his fridge into a crate. I guess that was his last life cus he was mangled.

Now thats not fair.
