I think is 95% possible to be pregnant, deepens of what period of the month you have the cycle... if it finished a five-six day ago until you have sex is good, if is after six day is bad..... and i think you must go to a doctor and ask him or her about that!!!!!! Don't be afraid everything is gonna be O.K.!!!!

Well if you are under 18 you will have to see a doctor before you can get the morning after pill and depending on what state you live in he may have to contact your parents in order to prescribe the morning after pill and again depending on what state you live the doctor may need their permission to give you the prescription. If you are 18 or over you can get it at your local pharmacy. You have to start it within the first 72 hours after having sex, the sooner you start the more effective it is which at best is only about 85%. If you are under 18 it will take at least 72 hours to go through all of the "red tape" in order to get a prescription, so by the time you actually do start them you could be looking at a less than 50% rate of effectiveness. Taking the morning after pill is no guarantee since it is NOT birth control. It is a mini period in that it causes you to have a period whether you are due for one or not in order to expell the tissue lining your uterus after ovulation to prevent an already fertilized egg from implanting, however if things were a bit slow or an egg was fertilized higher up it might not have implanted or even gotten to a place TO implant when you take the morning after pill and if that be the case then you ARE still pregnant. One thing about sex...is that you have to be mature enough to know that you need to be responsible for ALL of the consquences that can happen when you have sex...neither one of your sounds at all responsible...or mature enough to have sex at all...

I'm sorry people are saying you aren't mature or responsible. Obviously you are if you are using condoms to prevent pregnancy, STD's, or both. You just had bad luck, you don't deserve to be judged for trying to do the right thing and it back-firing on you. I'm not sure where you are, but if you have a local Planned Parenthood, go there to get the morning after pill. If you don't have one then try your local public health center, or your primary care physician, who can actually call in a prescription to the pharmacy for you. Good Luck.

Are you one of those teenage girls feeling the need to have sex, to keep a boyfriend. If so stop doing the sex act. Real stupid! Now you have to deal with a pregancy. That was not planned for. Most of the time the guy takes off and leaves you alone with the kid. Will we be seeing you on the Maury Povich DNA test show?
Emergency Pill must be taken the morning after, not two days later! Douching can make things worse!

When any birth control fails, the chances of being pregnant are always high. It also depends on you cycle and if you were actively ovulating. Get a test and find out or go to your GYN.

The chances depend on your time of the month. Go to PP to discuss your options.
A dual approach to birth control might be better.

The chances of pregnancy are about 2 percent unless you are in your ovulating cycle, in which case there is a lack of predictability.
