Long hair RULES. Wouldn't have it any other way.
Short hair on a girl is just not appealing, it doesn't have that feminine sexiness to it. ANY length that can be brought up into a pony tail is long enough. It depends on the young woman also. Personality, smile, eyes, etc. will outweigh any trivial other descriptors for the long haul.
OH, I forgot.... ugly feet is a no-no. Sorry.

The majority of men i know prefer ladies with long hair but more specifically, wellkept hair at any length.
I must admit though, I recently cut my hair from lower back to 2inches under my shoulder, I felt great, my partner says I look sexy, but I passed two ladies while out shopping with beautiful long hair and have decided to grow mine back. hehe

Please stop screaming. Yes. Guys love long hair on women, as long as it is neat and clean. If you have hair that reaches down to the small of your back that looks like it was styled by Rosanne Rosanna Danna, that's just scary

Definately long. in fact, in case you ever do a seek on hair cuts/varieties, you will see that their thought of medium is approximately shoulder length, now and back even a splash shorter than that. desire this helped! :)

Long hair looks GREAT, but I'm picky about it. Boy cuts annoy me very much and hair past like-mid back and maybe, depending on who you are, past your but, just bothers me. It really depends what you look like, sometimes a certain length doesn't look good with your face. Like for me, I think hair past my hips would look very ...ew.
