I have to make a digital poster (1metre x1metre). What software should I be using? Is Adobe Photoshop or Coreldraw suitable? How high must my resolution be in order for my digital poster printed out nicely? Any recommendation? HELP!

You should use Coreldraw or Adobe Illustrator if you plan to print the poster after you digitally create it. But if you are only displaying it electronically - Photoshop would be equally fine.

For printing the poster a minimum resolution of 200dpi is required to give you good quality print.
