I dont understand how illinois could be ranked behind iowa in the big ten we have a better overall record than them and each team won one game against each other.

Got to be a better record agaisnt top teams or maybe since Iowa's win was later in the season and those always mean more

well i was so curious to know this.. i checked on wikipedia.... answer to your question is that iowa has a better record against the number one seeded team in the big 10.. ohio state... honestly i would have guessed that overall record would be the tiebreak.. but leave it to the big ten to screw everything up....link at the bottom so u can check it out.. great question though

Illinois is ranked behind Iowa because they have a worse conference record.
