if you want to read the Q and A here it is...
Question: i need to build my own website, something simple?
Deleted Answer: hi, i had puchased domain names for my business and had a copy of dreamweaver, but was struggling to use it to create a website from my ideas. then along came an email from microsoft - their offive live programme offers free hosting, domain email addresses and web design tools, it's absolutely great. you can see what i have done, with little web design knowledge, here http://rebecca-swift.co.uk/default.aspx and if you are interested then you can find more info on office live here http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/officelive/default.aspx

The problem isn't that you're advertising, it's that you're advertising one of Yahoo's main competitors.

The same thing happened to me a few days ago! I was genuinly interested in the question and spent some 10 minutes browsing for answers. The question was about animal names beginning with the letter U and all the animals I found were really unusual and exotic so I included links to pages where the asker can see the pictures of those animals.
The next day I received a violation (spam&advertisement). I was shocked and wrote a polite email to Yahoo asking them for explanation. This was 48 hours ago, and I haven't received an answer yet.

Here are the details of my (inappropriate) answer:

Question: name of an animal begining with U?

Deleted Answer:
-umbrellabird: insect-eating birds similar to flycatchers, native to Central and South America. http://www.enchantedlearning.com/subjects/birds/printouts/Umbrellabird.shtml
-Uakari: a South American monkey. http://www.uakari.co.uk/
-Urial: a type of sheep. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Urial
-Urutu: a tropical forest snake native to Central and South America. http://www.snap-shot.com/wallpaper/animals/urutu.htm
-uromastyx: http://www.kingsnake.com/uromastyx/

I mean, what is the point of Y!A if people get violated for posting links to animal pictures,
but at the same time others get away with being racist, sexist, agressive, annoying... even posting links to websites where people take photos of their poo and upload them to be rated by others!!!

Ironically, my Yahoo mailbox daily gets littered with spam mail advertising medicine, fake watches, fake university degrees... I keep reporting it, but nothing ever happens... I keep receiving spam from the same addresses!

you are advertising yourself by posting a link to your website, and also to microsoft... be careful when you post links... they might even violate you for asking the question and reposting the links... careful there girl!!!
