I studied AS Level Spanish at college last year, and I wondered if there was any way that I could study and make this into an A level, or would I have to redo the whole A Level?
Thanks,
Jess

AS studies usually take one year. At the end of the year, you would have been given a score for each unit you studied in Spanish. Adding all these together would give you your AS grade. You will need to approach your college to see if they are prepared to let attend for another year to study at A2 level. They would not expect you to re-sit the whole year again, providing you did relatively well in you AS exams. Make sure you have a copy of your scores/grades for each unit when you talk to them. Sometimes you can re-sit a specific unit that you didn't do so well in, for example AS listening, in addition to continuing the A2 course. Give them a ring and ask to speak to the Admissions Officer. Explain what you want to do. I'm sure there will not be a problem. Good luck!

I teach AS and A2 students!
