It is the end of the 4th world Cycle.

I don't think it is the end of he word, rather it is the end of a period of time. remember the calenders are based on wheels, circles that spin. once the wheels have reached the end of their cycle they start over. that's what is going to happen, the calenders are getting ready to reset.

in 2012 there are going to be a lot of disappointed end of the world theorists.

Some of these calendars were drawn up until the end of the world as they saw it.
