It will cause your car to have higher CO and NO2 emissions. If your state requires an emissions test your car will fail. Some new cars also have an O2 sensor on catalytic converters. I am not sure about BMW, but if it does your car will likely not run right. It will not make your car noticably louder. Due to better exaust flow it may give you a tiny bit more power (1 hp?) which theoretically could lead to better gas mileage, but it would be such a tiny amount there is no way you would ever notice it.

The catalytic converter is there to help control polution.
If you remove it you could incur a very large fine from the environment protection authority, and you would not want to add to world pollution, would You.! ?

the workstation administration of your engine is programmed to regulate timing and blend, and except it particularly is been changed to make amends for the lacking catalytic converter, it may not do it particularly is activity right. on your case, i assume meaning severe gas intake. you have a considerable fix to do: the two get an ECM programmed for no cat (which would be stressful, autos are meant to have a cat in them), or positioned a converter lower back on your vehicle.

It will not affect the way your car is running. In fact, you'll get some HP gain by removing it. The problem is you will be polluting the air, and if where you live requires emission test on your car for registration, you will not pass it.

well. not having a catalytic converter is illegal in many states. it could cause a fine in that case. otherwise. it makes your car a lot louder. the exhaust can get out better. you get a small amount of horse power. but i dont think its worth it, because the louder engine will get you pulled over and fined more easily
