I would be a lot quicker to get the central line to Liverpool Street and then get the over land train to gidea park from platform 11-14 (it changes by train so look on the board), they leave every 30 mins.

That should get you there much quicker.

get the number 25 from oxford st, this will take you to stratford, then change to a bus that takes you to ilford not sure of the number, then from ilford take a bus that takes you to gidea park. this journey will take you around 2.5 to 3 hours
