i am a student too and yes it does affect studies if you spend too much a time on ur cellphone say like 1 hour or more but if u just use it for receiving some calls and some messages it in no way does affect ur studies

What exactly was your question? Basically turn off your cellphone during classtime and study time and you probably shouldn't be on Yahoo! Answers while doing your homework (unless you have a homework question to ask).

according to me if its ur first cellphone it will affect ur studies for some time or if never get bored just give the cellphone away to ur parents

The cell phone will NOT affect your studies directly.

You, deciding to talk on the phone, or sending text messages, instead of studying will of course effect your studies.

Yes it definitely will affect your studies. You must control its usage and switch it off during studies.

depends on you if u don't concentrate on your studies and play or listen to games and music on ur phone

It depends on your usage. If you just use it as you phone then no problem. If you use it as you boy friend or girl friend then you have trouble.
