What's your point? It went up about 5 cents a day here in No. Cal (Northern California) Nobody is going to do jack about it so just bend over like the rest of us.

Ya those poor oil companys eh!, There was a refinery fire here 3/4 weeks ago (imperial) in Nanticoke Ont,, It shut down production, and alot of their gas bars had to close , So alot of the other gas stations had to cover the overflow (not imperial oil), They all raised their prices up to 1.01 to 1.20 per liter, ( 4.5 ltrs to 1 us gallon), and they say it is not gouging the comsumer. The oil companys got us by the short and curleys, and we can not do any thing about it.

well here in Utah....where we drill for oil, it has finally gone down to around $2.33 but the most Ive seen it was a little over $4.00
Really though it is a big deal for it to go up but, they realize its something almost everyone uses and even if it were $20.00 a gallon i know i would still buy it....i live in a small town but not close enough to walk (where I'm at i dont even have sidewalks)
I think they pay more in permits than anything else....anyways it prolly wont be on the news until it goes up ridiculously high again

The truth is that the oil companies are a bunch of greedy pigs, but what they are saying is that they are switching to "summer" gas and tensions in the middle east blah blah blah.
