Looking for a solution to a slight problem, have no place to hang a punch bag and begrudge paying for a stand alone one could anyone suggest an alternative, I am interested in methods used in martial arts such as punching boards etc? Thanks in advance.

go to your bank and ask for some of the canvas money bags
i put one inside the other fill with sand and double stitch the top closed.
an eyelet kit from the pound shop provides something to hang it on a wall with.
mine is now filled with gravel.

punching technique trainging can only really come from punching bag. but if u are looking to strengthen the punch use weights on your wrists to strengthen the main muscles. also the retor way try taping a pillow to a wall and padding it out in order to at least have a striking post. hope this helps
