what can you do if you forgot the key or the password?

Look on the back or bottom of the router case for a tiny hole that should be labeled "Reset". Using a paper clip, push and hold down for about 5 seconds, and you should see the all the router lights flashing.

Then, unplug the router for about 30 seconds and reconnect.

Browse to your router using: http://192.168.0.1 in the address bar. At the login screen, type "admin" as the user name, with no password, then click OK (or Next)(or Login), I can't remember which, but it should allow you in.

You will have to tweak the router settings again.
