Jane Fonda. She went very far to do what she thought was right and protest the tyrannous and warmongering ways of US government... she still managed to make it into a PR disaster and is widely regarded as a traitor in the USA, to the point that her becoming vocal against the Iraq war recently caused a fresh bout of hatred against her.

Well I think the actor that played Krammer on Jerry Seinfeld (sp) is a great example, after calling the blacks & other minorites at his performance all diff names & just making such racist remarks. Im thinking carefully about Jack Nicholson?? Seems like hed be a bit outspoken too. lol maybe some under the table deals? nah not Jack!
